MCM Comic Con Birmingham have announced that puppeteer and voice actor Brian Herring will no longer be appearing at the convention due to filming conflicts and that all autograph and photo op purchases will be automatically refunded. He has worked on a huge variety of projects, with his most well known voice appearance being as BB-8 in the Star Wars franchise but also appearing ion projects as diverse as Hellboy 2, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Super Monsters, 28 Weeks Later and the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.

On social media there seem to be a few disappointed fans and people disappointed in general with the number of guests at the con, but it’s important to remember that these are still strange times, and they still also have a number of guests attending. Still confirmed at the moment are:
