Funko have just released their next lot of Gold figures. Having purchased one of the big ones myself to see what they’re like, I have to say that I’m not convinced that we’re going to see a huge number of these “premium figures” take off, but we’ll see how long this line keeps going. The next lot will be a series of NFL players with each one also having a chase version where the uniform is slightly different. I don’t know much about the NFL but I guess that perhaps the chase is the away kit? I could be wrong!
The 9 figures being released are Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson in a 12″ size and then for the 5″ figures you see those 2 players again (although for both the chase versions are different for the 2 sizes, while the common remains the same), along with Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, Aaron Rodgers, Baker Mayfield and Tom Brady.
