When it comes to nostalgic toys, there are few things which ring a huge welcome bell more than a Tamagotchi! I absolutely love these virtual pets, and seeing this new one come out as a mash-up with one of the most iconic characters from Star Wars and possibly one of the most well known movie droids of all time, R2-D2 is just seriously special for an 80s baby! I genuinely can’t wait to get my hands on one of these… Or actually that is more accurately that I can’t wait to get my hands on 2 of these as they are releasing 2! One if in a white case and one has a blue case, and whilst both are awesome, I have to say that if I had to choose one, the white one would take it! Although it does look like the blue case is translucent.

This is more than just a normal Tamagotchi though, its got 9 mini games on it and R2 can get special visitors like C-3PO, Yoda, Boba Fett and Sand Troopers… This little thing looks absolutely amazing!
