Nerd News: Warhammer Fest Starts Today and the Weekend Pre-Orders Have Already Been Revealed!

From today there is a week long event happening across the Warhammer online channels as they celebrate Warhammer Fest 2021 where they will be celebrating special news, announcements and releases from across the various franchises all week long, and the schedule for that week which culminates on Saturday, looks a little like this! What do you think is going to be getting revealed on Saturday, or are you hoping for a mystery box style mixed batch of news and goodies?

Before that however let’s look at the pre-orders which are coming out at the end of the week and we’ve got a lot to look forward to with a brand new pitch for the Doom Lords to call home in the Chaos Chosen Blood Bowl complete with its own set of rules as well as a new Chaos Chosen team card pack available with references about all the players and even 20 blank player cards. Whilst on the topic of card decks, there’s a new Warhammer Underworlds Direchasm: Silent Menace Universal deck coming out with 12 objectives, 10 gambits and 10 upgrades which is perfect timing with a set of 4 feral Orruk figures complete with a Shaman coming out.

For new-comers to the Necromunda Hive War game, there’s a new starter set featuring 10 each of the Escher and Delaque gangs, complete with a variety of weapons, 11 zone mortalis columns and walls, 25 barricades & objectives, blast markers, dice, tokens, a gaming mat, 44 cards and a 104 page rule book. This is a fast paced strategy game and the figures look absolutely brilliant. They give off a bit of a Borderlands vibe to me which I absolutely love!
