There is no denying that the Mandalorian has been a huge success for Disney, and in particular their streaming service. I know of numerous people who signed up to the service purely to watch the Mandalorian, so it makes sense for them to explore a whole new storyline within this particular universe. The Star Wars universe of course is all the same, but the Mandalorian plays along away from the rest of the movies, so this is possibly going to be a little bridge between the two.
After all, if you want to explore more of the Mandalorian, who better as your guide than the most famous of the bounty hunters, Boba Fett. It is often said that he is one of cinemas most loved side characters, with so little screen time, and it makes sense… So it’s good to finally see that screen time for the character.
It’s such a shame that Jeremy Bulloch, the original Boba Fett won’t get to see his character taken on a whole new journey as he sadly passed away earlier this year.
It is going to see Temuera Morrison reprise his version of Boba Fett from the Mandalorian series, alongside Ming-Na Wen and her Fennec Shand character.
Can’t wait for December 2021 to see where Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez take this awesome and classic character!
