Nerd News: Toy Gory 2 Starring Jamie Madrox of Twiztid Crowd Funding on Indiegogo

If you didn’t know, and I have to admit that until I saw this, I also didn’t know, a year or so ago Underground Hustlin’ LLC produced a short horror film (which is just over 4 minutes long on its own) and combined it with music and music videos from various underground hip hop artists over a metal soundtrack… You can see it below and you know what, it works… all those elements work well together:

I think part of the reason why it works so well is that they’re working with Jamie Madrox, the same as last time, who is a big fan of action figures. The reason why there are some amazing Twiztid (the hip hop group) action figures is that Madrox and Paul Methric (also of Twiztid) are huge toy fans… In fact Methric has an INSANE funko pop collection.

Madrox was involved in the first video too and I think working with him, who is part of all of the genres of this film himself is what makes it flow so effortlessly.

There’s a new campaign video available for this second short film, which you can see below, and they are raising money with a few different perk packages available, which start at $50 and go all the way up to $1,000. I think it would be cool to see a couple more perk packages, especially the lower ones, but this isn’t their first rodeo and I wish them the best of luck as it looks like a really cool project! As I write this they are 8% towards their goal (which in British Pounds is 86 of the £982 they’re after) and have still got a leisurely 45 days left.

Go check it out and give them some love! The link to the IndieGoGo campaign (which is a really easy and trusted platform to use) is just above!
